The NARM Scholarship Foundation celebrates its 40th Anniversary in 2006! Since its inception in 1966, the Foundation has awarded more than $5 million dollars in financial assistance to NARM member employees and their children through the generosity of our donor companies, industry veterans and other individuals who recognize the importance of providing education to our industry's children.
Scholarships can be established in the name of a specific company; given by a group of companies or individuals to recognize or memorialize an individual; or donated to commemorate an event or anniversary within the industry. Awards are also funded through special events held by NARM in conjunction with its annual Convention such as the silent auction or golf outing.
Recipients are chosen based primarily on financial need, but must also show evidence of academic excellence and the potential to succeed in college. A committee, comprised of a representative group of NARM members, reviews the applications and makes the final selections under the guidance of an academic adviser.
