Consensus in the innovator community (venture capitalists, start-ups and developers)  indicates that developing products and services in the music industry is difficult because of the barriers to entry, difficulty of navigation, and the lack of an ecosystem to nurture product development. While the Digital Supply Chain & Operations (DSC) Work Group is seeking address that ecosystem from a technological perspective, the Product Development (PD) Work Group will be focused on the needs of those entrepreneurial entities who wish to engage our membership constituency. The Group will create documents that will suggest best practices for these entities. Note that pricing, deal points, and other items pertaining to competitive elements will not be discussed.
