The
National Association Of Recording Merchandisers (NARM) has announced the 2001-2002
slate of officers for its Board of Directors. In addition, four new members
have been elected to the Board.
Peter
Cline, Handleman Company, will serve as Chairman for the upcoming term; David
Schlang, AEC One-Stop Group is the Vice Chairman; Larry Gaines, Wherehouse
Entertainment, is Treasurer; and Joe Pagano, Best Buy Co., Inc., is Secretary.
Four new
members are taking seats on the board: Jennifer Cast, Amazon.com; Len Cosimano,
Borders, Inc.; Eric Doctorow, Paramount Home Video; and Bill Lardie, Anderson
Merchandisers. Those continuing to
serve on the Board of Directors include George Daniels, George’s Music Room;
Alayna Hill, Record Archive; Tony Kirsch, Dart Distributing; Joe Micallef,
Allegro Corporation; David Mount, WEA Corporation; and Eric Paulson, Navarre
Corporation.
NARM
serves the music and other prerecorded entertainment software industry as the
pre-eminent forum for insight and dialogue for its more than 1,200 member
retailers, wholesalers, distributors, entertainment software suppliers, and
suppliers of related products and services.
