Merchandiser And Supplier Of The Year

Finalists Announced

The National Association of Recording Merchandisers (NARM) has announced the finalists for its 2000 Merchandiser and Supplier Of The Year Awards, which recognize outstanding industry achievement among retailers, distributors, wholesalers, entertainment software suppliers, and suppliers of related products and services. Winners will be announced at the Awards Banquet Wednesday, March 14, during the 2001 NARM Convention, which will be Sunday, March 11, through Wednesday, March 14, at the Orlando World Center Marriott in Orlando, Florida.

NARM members nominated trading partners in the various industry segments, and those companies with the most nominations were named as finalists. Small, medium and large companies in each segment are categorized based on membership dues. Trading partner companies will judge the finalists, rating each finalist’s performance on established criteria. The company with the highest score for each industry segment and size category will be declared the winner. The list of 2000 finalists is attached.

NARM serves the music and other prerecorded entertainment software industry

as the pre-eminent forum for insight and dialogue for its more than 1,100 member retailers, wholesalers, distributors, entertainment software suppliers, and suppliers of related products and services.
