Brief Company Description: Battle Flag Records is an independent record label that was formed by the owners of Skyline Studios, a recording studio and music production facility located in the historic Deep Ellum district of Dallas. Both companies work hand-in-hand to discover new artists, help them cultivate their talent, and share their music with the masses. The company produces original audio, video, and multimedia content for our artists and then take that product to market, both in the traditional physical form of CDs, DVDs, and vinyl, or in the digital marketplace in the form of downloads, streaming video, and other interactive content.

Most recently, Battle Flag has produced a video for The Phuss, which has been featured on Fuse TV and HDnet. The video brings the characters of the band’s concept album “Wanted” to life on 16mm film, and was shot entirely on location in rural Texas by director Matt Cooper (Drowning Pool, Jet, The Feds).

Joined NARM Because: Battle Flag first heard about NARM from their distributor, INGrooves. After doing some research, it seemed that both the convention and NARM as an entity had a lot to offer in terms of market and industry insight to help the company grow. NARM will provide a common forum for Battle Flag Records to talk with others in the industry about what works and doesn’t work for their business.
