(05.27.09) NARM announces the keynote speakers for its Annual Convention, NARM Connects: Physical…Digital…Mobile, which will be held June 7 – 10, 2009, at the San Diego Marriott.

These industry leaders include:

• Daniel Rosensweig, President and CEO of Guitar Hero/Activision – Monday, June 8, at 10:30 AM.
• Michael Spiegelman, Senior Director of Music for Yahoo! – Tuesday, June 9, at 2:30 PM
• Jonathan Vlassopulos, CEO of Moderati and GM of Bellrock Media – Tuesday, June 9, at 4:30 PM
• Ian Rogers, CEO of Topspin Media – Wednesday, June 10, at 11 AM

Each of these executives is playing a major role in the evolving music marketplace, and will provide visions and expertise within a variety of areas. Rosensweig, who recently joined Activision, will share his goals for RedOctane’s popular video game franchise, Guitar Hero, and the upcoming DJ Hero spin-off. In a special exclusive NARM event, Rosensweig will be interviewed on stage by TV host Tommy Tallarico, the award-winning videogame soundtrack composer and producer.

An expert in digital music, Yahoo!’s Spiegelman will focus on the major issues facing the industry today, and provide an overview of Artist Pages, Yahoo! Music’s latest development that integrates music-related and often fan-sourced content from some of the Internet’s most popular sites and social networks. Ted Cohen of TAG Strategic, a digital entertainment consultant and expert, will guide the conversation.

As a music technology innovator, Rogers will provide insight into Topspin’s business and tech models. This keynote session will feature an on-stage interview with renowned Wired.com journalist Eliot Van Buskirk.

Sharing his expertise in global branded digital entertainment, Vlassopulos will discuss growth trends in online and mobile content within the international marketplace, and the growing influence and importance of mobile applications. Digital entertainment reporter Dawn Chmielewski of the LA Times will conduct the interview.
