1997 NARM Convention

Disney Records To Host Event In Magic Kingdom

Walt Disney Records will host an exclusive event for NARM '97 Convention attendees in Tomorrowland at Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom on Sunday evening, March 9. The 39th Annual Convention runs from March 8 through 11 at Marriott's Orlando World Center in Orlando, Florida.

Guests will indulge in a variety of desserts as the musical highlights from "Hercules" - Disney's 35th full-length animated feature film - are brought to life in an ethereal stage show. Afterward, attendees will be able to seek the thrills and fun of Tomorrowland's attractions, such as Alien Encounter and Space Mountain.

"For the past two years, we've delivered the Disney spirit to NARM via our live stage presentations," said Walt Disney Records' Senior VP Carolyn Mayer Beug. "Now, with the '97 Convention being held in Orlando, we're given a unique opportunity to allow NARM attendees to experience the Disney magic firsthand."

"Walt Disney Records' events have been among the most spectacular and best-rated at recent conventions," noted NARM President Pamela Horovitz. "We could not be more pleased that the first announcement for the '97 program comes from Walt Disney Records. I'm sure it will be a fabulous night!"
