Nominating
Committee
To Select 1998-2001 Slate
The NARM Nominating
Committee will meet in late January to select
individuals for the NARM Board of Directors for the
1998-2001 term of office. The Committee is soliciting
input about potential candidates from the membership
prior to the meeting.
Two seats are being
vacated. Chairman Bob Schneider, Anderson
Merchandisers, has completed his second term of
office and is not eligible for renomination. Jeff
Abrams, formerly of Smith & Alster, tendered his
resignation from the Board this past Fall.
A third seat is held
by Terry Woodward, Wax Works/Video Works/Disc Jockey,
who is completing his first term and is eligible for
renomination.
The Nominating
Committee consists of two Board members not eligible
for nomination and three General members who are not
on the Board.
A slate will be
recommended to the current Board of Directors for
affirmation and the results will be presented to the
general membership at the Members Annual Meeting on
Monday, March 16 at the 40th Anniversary Convention
in San Francisco, California.
