NARM Distributor Database

Recognized at the industry standard, the NARM Distributor Database is an online data pool enabled with a standardized catalog reporting format with regular update capabilities. It is a service of distributor catalog information that literally saves members time and money. Housed on the NARM web site, distributors upload their music and video catalog files to one location, which means one-stop shopping for retailers and wholesalers. The standardized, timely data communication tool also means automated, streamlined internal processes; fewer errors; less labor; and supply chain efficiencies.

NARM/EMA Communications Manual

Serving as the basis for industry communications is the NARM/EMA Communications Manual, which explains not only the Distributor Database standards, but recommends standardized formats for shipping, handling and returns forms and processes.

New Releases

New Releases is a service designed to help members find out what new titles are being released in the coming weeks, and market them to their customers and music fans. The service, in which the information is updated daily, is pulled from the NARM Distributor Database, and reports on new releases from one week up to one year out.
