Welcome to the download page for the “Give The Gift Of Music” campaign.
Be sure to check out the campaign web site at http://www.givethegiftofmusic.info!
This campaign originated some 30 years ago to communicate the simple, yet effective message to consumers that music is a particular means of personal expression, thoughtfulness and consideration when given as a gift to a friend or a loved one.
In March 2010, NARM and the RIAA invited companies and individuals to participate in the process of giving the music-gifting promotional program a fresh look by submitting designs for a new logo. More than two dozen entries were submitted by a cross-section of retail and supplier member companies, as well as outside graphic design and marketing professionals. A “blue ribbon” judging panel was assembled, including representatives from NARM and RIAA, members and design specialists.
The winning design was officially unveiled at the 2010 Convention is now ready for use by the industry.
With so many great releases and deluxe offerings coming into the marketplace that will make great gifts, we encourage you to use this new “Give The Gift Of Music” branding on your web sites, in your advertising and other promotional and social media initiatives this holiday season. Spread the word to colleagues in the creative community as well, to let artists and managers know they should use the messaging on their web sites.
