Awards Descriptions
NARM Chairman’s Award for Sustained Creative Achievement
This award is presented to a musical act (artist or group) that has sustained long-term creativity and success in the recording industry.
NARM Presidential Award for Sustained Executive Achievement
One of the Association’s highest honors, it is presented to a business executive who has contributed greatly to the overall success of our industry
NARM Harry Chapin Memorial Humanitarian Award
The Award memorializes Chapin’s efforts on behalf of the environment and other humanitarian causes.
NARM Outstanding Achievement Awards
The NARM Outstanding Achievement Awards recognize excellence in industry practices and consist of the following categories:
Community Award
This award is given to a NARM member company that demonstrates exceptional support of or participation in charitable, philanthropic or other non-profit organizations.“Green” Award
This award recognizes a NARM member company that adopts principles, practices and policies that help reduce negative effects on the environment.Packaging Award
This award recognizes physical packaging that creatively adds value to the product to induce the consumer to buy.Collaboration Award
This award is given for special collaborations among trading partners to promote physical, digital or mobile music to a wider audience of consumers via advertising, marketing, merchandising or other efforts.Marketing Award
This award recognizes a company for reaching the consumer through the successful execution of a comprehensive campaign that encompasses not only advertising, but also other communication conduits.Business Innovation Award
Given to a company whose creativity or technological developments have resulted in a new approach in connecting the consumer to discovering, accessing, experiencing and purchasing music.
